Bass fishing still good on top waters early and late, medium cranks and plastics during the afternoon. There was shad spotted up tight to the bank in several areas of the lake that can be readily dipped. Catfish still providing steady action in creek channels all over the lake. Cut mackerel and dough baits were the top bait choices. There has been a slow pick on trout in the dam area as well as in front of Harveys trolling dodger/crawler combos, and CD five rapalas from the surface to six colors of leadcore. Crappie still being caught in Santa Cruz Bay, the narrows and Cachuma Bay. Small minnow imitations and crappie jigs both worked well. Bowfishing for carp has been good all over the lake, with the best action on overcast mornings. Bluegill around structure in the backs of shallow coves.
