Chessie

5 years • M(N) • Yorkshire Terrier mix • Black/white • 9 pounds

Chessie is an active fireball who does not know the meaning of moderation. She loves belly rubs and being held on her back like a baby. If you have an hour, so does she. She also loves to eat, run with the wind and play with other dogs. Most dogs are great playmates for Chessie, but she is competitive with some. Her friends will accept her as she is and they will all get along. Come meet this loving dynamo. You will be glad you did. Chessie is microchipped.


Pele

Pele has places to go, people to meet, and toys to chew. He is a busy, busy boy. This little dynamo is as cute as the day is long with his scruffy fur and his pointy little nose. As with many small dogs, his knees pop in and out. Most dogs with this condition occasionally hop on three legs while running. Pele, not to be out done, has a new twist on an old tradition. Diva

Diva is a darling and has been the apple of her mother’s eye for almost 13 years. Now at the Humane Society, she has her own room complete with a soft mat for visitors. She likes to cuddle next to them, as if she is at a coffee shop catching up with her best friend. She lets you do most of the talking and chimes in when appropriate. The most striking thing about her is her dynamic tail. She can wag it like a dog or rattle it with excitement. It never seems to stop moving. Diva is a senior with a clean bill of health and a recent dental. She is microchipped.

Luke

Meet Luke. He is well-mannered, loves to play fetch and is dog-friendly. Luke is crate-trained and most likely, house-trained. The shelter is looking for an adopter for Luke who has experience with raising/training German Shepherds. Luke would make a nice family dog as he adores people.

Meet Otis. Otis is a very outgoing chocolate lab who missed out on some early training, but is a wonderful dog who loves to play with toys. Otis is okay with other dogs, but may be a little too rambunctious for domestic cats.

Harley

Harley is a loveable large dog who is looking for an active home. He previously lived with kids ages 5 and up. This big boy has a lot of energy and is very strong. Harley needs an experienced person who will help him learn how to walk on a leash. Harley wants a home where he can have ample indoor time and is recommended as an only dog. We are happy to report that we’ve found Harley does know “sit” and “stay” commands and he minds and listens well. Who could resist that happy, smiling face?

Dodger
