The 4,000-pound plant from the Calaveras Trout Farm provided limit-style action for most anglers. The shore around Marina Point and Drakes cove was the place to be, as Powerbait and inflated crawlers account for fish to 6 pounds. Trollers did well also, and flat-lined Rapalas and Kastmasters worked well in the same area.

Catfish still providing action for those who want to target them, Jackrabbit Flats and Johnsons Bay were the preferred locations. Cut baits and shrimp were the top bait choices. The bass bite started to show signs of life, but the recent storm seemed to have temporarily shut it down again. A handful of incidental crappie were the only panfish reported. Bowfishing is good in the backs of shallow coves and main lake shorelines.
