There are four people who
have made my life easier in 4-H. They are big helpers in getting pins, earning
stars, and becoming a better member of 4-H.
Their names are James,
Miguel, Raquel, and Geoff Rotunno. These four people
have inspired me to become a proud 4-H member.
James is my step-father, but
he seems like a dad to me. He is a veterinarian who advises me in projects. He
gave me a booklet telling me all about 4-H. I most definitely said I wanted to
join.
Miguel, the manager of the
ranch, helps me in everything I need whether it's feeding the dogs when I am
away to giving us hay for the horses. Miguel comes to greet the cattle and I
count them. Come to think of it, he has the biggest smile I have ever seen!
Raquel, my mother, helps with
decorations at big events. She comes up with great ideas for boards, or smart
tips. She inspires me by caring for what I do and listening to what I have to
say. With her on my side, I will always make everything I do great.
Geoff is the 4-H and Cinema
Arts leader. He tells me to always try my best and to never lose hope in
something that I really want to do. Geoff makes 4-H fun and exciting.
I feel L-U-C-K-Y that they
have brains, muscle, care, and trustworthiness.
