Valley Residents Come Together to Enjoy Old Santa Ynez Day

Old Santa Ynez day brought an influx of Guest to the Valley June 9. The day’s festivities included the Old Santa Ynez Day Parade, the Tortilla Toss and the Quick and Draw contest for kids; and for adults there were vending booths and BBQ. Some of the vending booths included innovative crafts like wire dragon flies, jewelry and face painting. Of course an Old Santa Ynez Day would be incomplete without the popular Jones Fest at the Jones family house on Edison Street. Various singers performed and food was provided by the family as well. Even Elks Queen, Samantha Garley could be found wondering through the festivities.
