was arrested for driving under the influence after police observed her crossing
a double yellow line and speeding. Her alcohol level was .15 percent. She was taken
to the Santa Barbara County Jail and her car was impounded.

A 55-year-old female from Santa Ynez reported that an
unknown male suspect stole firewood from outside the store. She also reported
that when he found out the price of the firewood he replied, “It’s
too expensive.” After stealing the firewood, the suspect sped away from
the scene. A report was taken.

Ynez
A 21-year-old female from Paso Robles, Calif. reported that a 24-year-old female
from Santa Ynez kicked her after an argument ensued over a civil issue. The
victim alleged that the suspect yelled obscenities at her and threatened to
beat her up. No arrests were made and the case was submitted for a DA complaint
review.

A 76-year-old male from Solvang, Calif.
reported that unknown suspect(s) burned a Class C smoke bomb on the front patio
of his residence. The suspect(s) also placed toilette paper on the tree in
front of his residence; estimated loss was less than $400.00. A report was
taken and the case was suspended, pending leads.

A 70-year-old male from Santa Ynez reported that unknown
suspect(s) wrote “SOAK, THUCK, THQK, TDK, and LOVE ME” with a black
permanent marker on various locations around the area. No arrests were made. A
report was taken. The case was suspended pending leads.

Santa Ynez (Chumash Casino)
Police arrested a 45-year-old female from Ventura,
Calif. and cited a 33-year-old female from Goleta, Calif. and a
39-year-old woman from Camarillo,
Calif. for allegedly possessing
and being under the influence of methamphetamine. The 33-year-old female from Goleta is a known suspect and the suspect from Ventura was believed to
be selling methamphetamine. Police also found drug paraphernalia including a
syringe and marijuana in the Ventura
suspect’s vehicle. The suspect from Ventura
was arrested and taken to the Santa Barbara County Jail. The other two suspects
were cited and released.

to possessing marijuana. He was given a notice to appear in court and released.

A 23-year-old male from Montrose, Calif.
was arrested after he appeared to be under the influence of a controlled
substance. Police observed him falling asleep while waiting for service at a
register in the Casino. After being questioned, the suspect said that he was
tired because he had visited another casino in Los Angeles earlier in the day. The suspect
admitted to using heroine earlier in the day as well. Police obtained 1.2 grams
of heroine from the suspect. The suspect was taken to Santa Barbara County
Jail.

was cited for driving without a valid Driver’s License and no insurance
after police pulled him over for playing loud music. The driver’s 2000
Chevy Tahoe was impounded and he was given a notice to appear.

The contraband was booked into evidence at the Solvang Police Department and
destroyed.

A 49-year-old parent from Los Olivos, Calif.
reported that her son told her a fellow student threatened to burn the
school’s new football field. The woman contacted police but was unable to
provide further information regarding a suspect. No arrests were made.
