A 52-year-old female from Santa
Ynez, Calif. was
arrested for public intoxication after she was reportedly seen staggering,
running into customers and yelling. Police determined that she was unable to
care for herself. She was taken to the Santa Barbara County
jail where bail was set at $2500.

outstanding warrants after police contacted him at the casino. The suspect was
taken to the Santa Barbara County Jail.

Second Place at Fir Street, Solvang
A 53-year-old male and a 50-year-old female, both from Santa Maria, Calif.
were arrested for allegedly being under the influence and being in possession
of methamphetamine. The arrest happened after police pulled over the
suspect’s black Cadillac for running a stop sign. Police found the male
suspect to be under the influence of Methamphetamine. A search of the car
yielded a plastic bag containing three white tablets which were later
discovered to be Carisoprodol as well as
Methamphetamine. Both suspects were taken tot eh Santa Barbara County Jail.

Calif. was arrested for
outstanding warrants after police contacted him. Suspect was taken to the Santa
Barbara County Jail.

Lake Cachuma Campground, Santa Barbara
A 27-year-old female from Lompoc,
Calif. was arrested for public
intoxication after police received numerous phone calls from campers about the
woman’s behavior. Police observed that the woman had a strong odor of
alcohol and slurred speech. The suspect was taken to the Santa Barbara
Sheriff’s Department.

2600 Block of Grand Avenue, Los Olivos
A 52-year-old male from Los Olivos, Calif.
reported that his vehicle had been vandalized. The victim reported that his two
passenger-side tires had been slashed. The victim thought that the incident was
related to him being hit in the shoulder with a walnut by two male minors a
week earlier. The victim reported following the juveniles to their residence
and contacting their parents. A report was taken and the case was suspended
pending leads.

Maria, Calif. was
cited for driving on a suspended license after police observed him driving 50 mph
in a 25 mph zone. The driver’s girlfriend was allowed to drive the
vehicle home.

Calif. was released from custody
after police arrested him because they thought he was under the influence of a
controlled substance. After conducting various tests including a urine test, it
was concluded that the man was not under the influence of any controlled
substance.

A 16-year-old male from Buellton,
Calif. was cited for urinating in
public after police observed him peeing on the base of a tree. The minor had
allegedly been consuming alcohol. He was released and given a notice to appear
in court.

Mission Drive at Alisal Road,
Solvang
A 27-year-old male from Austin,
Texas was arrested for driving
under the influence of alcohol after police observed him weaving in and out of
a driving lane. They also observed the driver was speeding 15 miles over the
limit. Police reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol coming from the
driver. His blood alcohol level was .09. The driver’s rented white
Chrysler PT Cruiser was impounded and the driver was taken to the Santa Barbara
Sheriff’s Department.

Grand Theft Auto
1600 Block of Elm Avenue, Solvang
A 20-year-old male from Solvang,
Calif. reported that his blue
Dodge Ram 2500 had been stolen from a street in front of his house. He claimed
that he left his keys in the ignition with his windows rolled down overnight.
The following morning he awoke to find his vehicle missing. The following day
the victim reported finding his truck parked on Pine Street near Eucalyptus Drive. After contacting an
insurance representative and conducting an investigation, police were informed
that the Dodge Ram was involved in a hit and run collision earlier in the
month. The owner denied having any involvement in the theft of his vehicle. The
case was suspended pending leads.
