First Annual Santa Ynez Rotary Wine & Food Fest
The lawn of the Mission Santa Ynez was packed this past holiday weekend, as the Santa Ynez Valley Rotary Club hosted its hugely successful First Annual Santa Ynez Valley Wine & Food Fest. The rotary puts on several fund raisers throughout the year, but Rotary Chairman, David Wyatt, is hoping this will become their major fundraiser in the future.
The Lighthouse Jazz Quartet and The Trio played jazz, country and American music, while some of the Valley’s finest restaurants served up dishes that would benefit any palate. Restaurants included, Brothers at Matty’s Tavern, The Vineyard House, Cabernet Bistro, A-RU Sushi, newly opened Restaurant Marcella, Trattoria Grappolo, and even platters from El Rancho Marketplace. All of the food was mouth watering and the treats complimented the various wines served by several generous Valley wineries.

All proceeds from the Santa Ynez Valley Wine & Food Fest will be used to fund the many charities and institutions that The Rotary Club of the Santa Ynez Valley supports, including scholarships awarded annually to high school students and other donations made to Valley organizations, such as the Friendship House and others.
