Alleged
meth dealers arrested
Sheriff’s
detectives arrested eight suspects at Montecito and Santa Barbara residences
Dec. 21 for dealing and using methamphetamine. The arrests followed an
eight-month investigation in which S.W.A.T. team and narcotics detectives
served two search warrants in the 1300 block of Sycamore Canyon Road in Santa
Barbara and in the 200 block of Bonnie Lane in Montecito.
Police
seized about two ounces of methamphetamine, firearms, and drug paraphernalia.
Six of the eight suspects were arrested for being under the influence of
methamphetamine and other charges.
