A 43-year-old female from the 700 block of Coiner St. in Los Alamos was arrested after allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. Suspect refused to take breath test and was later taken to Santa Barbara County Jail where she was forced to take blood alcohol test.

A 39-year-old female from St. Louis, Missouri reported her wallet lost. The wallet contained $200, five credit cards, two bank cards and a Missouri driver’s license. Incident was documented.

3400 East Hwy 246, Santa Ynez (Chumash Casino)

A 55-year-old female from Santa Maria reported her vehicle stolen from lot 3C. Police later found vehicle in lot 1C. After reviewing casino surveillance tapes, police arrested two males, 25 and 36-years-old, from Ventura for allegedly stealing the victim’s vehicle and jewelry as well as being in possession of a shaved Toyota ignition key. Both suspects were taken to Santa Barbara County Jail.

400 Alisal Rd., Solvang

A 57-year-old male of the 700 block of Fourth St., in El Cajon, Calif. reported that unknown suspects stole a Global Positioning Satellite and phone charger from his unlocked vehicle. No arrests made. Suspect(s) remain at large.

A 66-year-old female reported two credit and driver’s license missing from her pants pocket. A report was filed.

A 20-year-old male from the 2700 block of Halcyon Rd. in Arroyo Grande was arrested after a routine traffic stop for having outstanding warrants. He was taken to Santa Barbara County Jail and was released on bail.

A 28-year-old male from Arroyo Grande was arrested after he allegedly challenged undercover casino officers to a fight. Suspect was detained for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance. Suspect was found to have a .275 blood alcohol level and tested positive for methamphetamine. Suspect was booked at Santa Barbara County Jail for resisting arrest.

A 38-year-old female from Lompoc reported that unknown suspect(s) forced open the driver’s side window of her vehicle and stole her purse from her trunk. Estimated loss is $136. No arrests were made. Suspect(s) remain at large.

A 59-year-old male from Santa Ynez reported illegal tree trimmers after obtaining a business card from the workers. After review, it was found that the 39-year-old tree-service owner from Santa Ynez was unlicensed. A citation was issued.

A minor was cited for reckless driving after allegedly aiming his vehicle at two juveniles who were standing on the road side with their bicycles. The suspect’s vehicle was towed and the case was submitted to juvenile probation.

A 37-year-old male from Buellton was cited after police allegedly found 2.9 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Suspect was released at the scene and issued a citation.

A 36-year-old female reported her wallet missing after leaving it in a bathroom stall at the casino. The woman described the wallet as a woman’s black, leather wallet. The wallet contained $300, various store credit cards and one Mastercard. The incident was documented. The wallet was not found.

A 54-year-old male reported receiving a threatening e-mail from an unknown author informing the man that the e-mail author was hired to kill him. The e-mail also said the man could avoid being killed if he paid $20,000 to the e-mail’s author. No arrests were made.

2980 Homestead Trl., Santa Ynez

A 47-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly sling-shotting steel ball bearings at the house of 40-year-old male who reported the activity at his residence. According to police reports, the 40-year-old male yelled for the suspect to stop. When the suspect did not comply, the male began throwing rocks. In turn, the suspect allegedly began slinging the ball bearings at the male. The suspect was arrested and taken to Santa Barbara County Jail. The damage is estimated at $1,800.

An adult male from Yemen, Israel reported losing his backpack. The backpack contained a cell phone and charger, Fuji digital camera, Sony video camera, $50 and other various personal effects. Incident was documented.

A 45-year-old male from Oxnard was arrested for allegedly being publicly intoxicated. According to the police report, the suspect was found sleeping in an employee’s vehicle in the parking lot. The employee was not related to the suspect. When police approached the man, they smelled alcohol on his breath. The subject said he had gone to the casino with a friend and thought he was sleeping in the friend’s vehicle. He also said he had consumed some nine beers that day. Suspect was taken to Santa Barbara County Jail.

A 39-year-old male reported that a 58-year-old male hit him in the face with a battery pack. Both males are employees at the Boy Scout Camp. The victim said that he had been having problems with his co-worker stemming from the use of camp tools.
