Battery

1600^th Block of Mission Drive, Solvang

A 15-year-old male reported being punched in the eye by an unknown suspect. The teenager refused to provide police with any information regarding the suspect. A report was made.

 

Citizens Arrest

3400^th Block of East Highway 246, Santa Ynez (Chumash Casino)

A 43-year-old male was arrested after trespassing on Casino property. The suspect was apparently banned for life from the Casino in March 2007 for drug use at the Casino.

The suspect was taken to the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office and then released.

 

Vandalism

2500^th Block of Alamo Pintada, Los Olivos

A 25-year-old woman reported that an unknown suspect had written “East Side Krazy” on several bathrooms and the gymnasium. No arrests were made. Suspect(s) remain at large.

Arrest

3400^th Block of Highway 246, Santa Ynez (Chumash Casino)

A 35-year-old male from Oxnard Calif. and a 39-year-old female from Camarillo Calif. were arrested after they allegedly attempted to pass a counterfeit traveler check in the amount of $500 at the Casino. The male suspect claimed the check was sent to him by his father, but was unable to provide information about his supposed father. Both suspects were taken to the Santa Barbara County Jail.

Vandalism

2800^th Block of Grand Ave., Los Olivos

A 47-year-old woman reported that an unknown suspect had written the word “GOMS” in a red permanent marker on the wall. Apparently the graffiti had been on the wall for a couple of weeks before the report was made. Suspect(s) remain at large. There have been similar vandalisms in Solvang.
