Competitive
trail ride set for Live Oak Camp
Santa Ynez Valley Arabian Horse
Association is now seeking riders and volunteers for its annual competitive
trail ride at Live Oak Camp near Lake Cachuma.
Divisions include open, competitive
pleasure, novice and distance only for the two-day ride, and novice for the
one-day ride. Open riders cover 50 to 60 miles; competitive pleasure and novice
riders cover 22 to 40 miles.
New this year is an introductory
10-mile ride on Saturday for those who want to learn about the sport.
