Santa Ynez Valley
Visitors Association offers first-ever summer savings certificate
Good
news for summer — with gas prices climbing like Mt. Everest, we may all be
looking for ways to save and still take a vacation, or even a “stay-cation.”
Members
of the Santa Ynez Valley Visitor’s Association are offering a 10 percent
discount for mid-week specials through September 25.
Santa
Ynez Visitor Association Executive Director Mary Harris says, “Summer is a wonderful time to escape the coastal fog and enjoy
the golden hills, lush vineyards and all our attractions.”
Members
offering 10 percent discounts, Monday through Thursday are: Ballard Inn and
Restaurant, First Street Leather, Foley Estates Vineyard and Winery Tasting
Room, Hadsten House Inn and Spa, PCPA Theaterfest at Solvang Festival Theater, Rancho San Marcos
Golf Course, Santa Ynez Inn, Santa Ynez Valley Marriott, and Solvang Antique
Center.
“The
Santa Ynez Valley is a great place to stay and play, only a tank away from
L.A.,” says Valley Association president Mike Hendrick,
general manager of the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott Hotel.
“It’s
so easy to click and print out the PDF that describes all the savings offered,
and visitors can print out as many certificates as they like and use them as
many times as they want,” added Harris.
