Therapeutic Riding to get funds
The
Therapeutic Riding Program will be the February recipient for the New
Frontier’s monthly five percent donation.
New
Frontier’s Natural Marketplace, located at 1984 Old Mission Dr. in Solvang,
donates a portion of its total sales for one day every month to a local
non-profit agency.
Next
month the donation day is March 19. Company officials encourage local residents
to complete their weekly shopping on that day to increase the donations to the
monthly fund.
The
Therapeutic Riding Program provides therapeutic horseback riding to enhance and
improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs.
Through
this program, participants build confidence, make new friends and receive
physical, emotional and cognitive therapy while having fun.
